How to find us

The holiday cottages are located at Newton Grange Farm, Bank Newton, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 3NT.

Our postcode covers the majority of properties in Bank Newton. Please follow the written directions about how to find us by road.

Newton Grange Farm is located approximately 6 miles north-west of Skipton.

Directions from the A65 in the middle of Gargrave

Take the road to Broughton and signposted to Gargrave Station. Follow this for a short distance until you reach the Mason's Arms Pub on your right (just before Gargrave Village Church). Turn right here, along Marton Road. Follow for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Bank Newton.

Once in the middle of Bank Newton, there is a post box in the wall on the right and a bridge on the left with a signpost to 'Newton Grange'.

Cross over the bridge on your left and follow this single-track road for just under half a mile until you reach Newton Grange Farm. Along the way you will pass a farm on your right, a house on your left, and then you will cross the canal at a sharp left-hand bend, which bends back on itself so the canal becomes on your right-hand side. Continue to follow the lane, passing a horse menage on your right, a house, and then further ahead of you some farm buildings on your left and right before you see the stone-built cottages ahead of you. Please continue to our visitor car park on the left. If you reach the blue sign, indicating a 'no through road', you have gone too far.

Directions from the A59 at Gisburn

From Gisburn, follow the A59 in the direction of Skipton. You will see a slip-road on the left signposted to 'Bank Newton'. Follow this road, which continues on to meet a T-junction. At the T-junction, turn left and follow the road ahead for approximately 3 miles until you reach the hamlet of Bank Newton.

In Bank Newton you will see the tall house painted yellow and with a large chimney on your left. The post box is in the wall on the left-hand side. Please take the turning on your right, over a small bridge and signposted to 'Newton Grange'.

There are a number of bus services that run from the village of Gargrave, which is 2 miles away from Newton Grange Farm. More details and timetables can be found here.

Gargrave - The nearest train station is on Church Street in Gargrave. The postcode is BD23 3NE. Trains run from Gargrave station to Leeds and take approximately 50 minutes, and towards Carlisle along the Settle Carlisle Railway in an approximate journey time of 2 hours.

Skipton - The next closest train station to Newton Grange Farm is Skipton, a 15 minute drive away. Skipton station is located on Broughton Road and the postcode is BD23 1RT. There is a taxi rank at Skipton station. Trains from London Kings Cross run to Skipton and take approximately 3 hours, with a single change at Leeds. There is also regular service to Leeds and Bradford, and also to Lancaster and Carlisle.

Leeds Bradford Airport is 25 miles away. Manchester Airport is 60 miles away.
