When did you last send a postcard?
One of the timeless memories I hold from childhood is the simple joy of choosing a postcard and writing home to family and friends.
So much so, that at my 21st birthday party, a family member commented that one of my distinguishing features was “how many words I could fit on a postcard”. I can’t remember the total wordcount being referred to, but I have I feeling it was in excess of 200…
We’re bringing back this tradition in our cottages from today – with free, complimentary postcards available to all our guests.
The postcards feature a photograph I took in the Dales – on a hike amidst limestone scenery to a place where you can sit and ponder, and just take in the views away from the crowds.
So whilst you’re here, why not write home about the lovely things you’ve seen and done in the Yorkshire Dales?
